Details:

The flower gardens are all in good shape and each window has real miniature lace set behind actual mica glazing. Made with all types of wool felt and yarn there is some loss that I have highlighted in the photos to the roof which looks like goat hair to me.

These would be the areas of restoration. The 5 cup Teapot shown is not part of the action and for display only, it is under the cosy in most of the photos and it fits comfortably under the cosy. This cozy is of a larger size and is about 11in long x 8in. The pink silk lining is stained with some holes and it needs to be re attached to the interior.

Some of the yarn coaching here and there is loose around the windows. Over the door in embroidered the number 5in tall when opened with a Teapot inside. It came to me out of a San Francisco estate.

This cozy is not a reproduction, and I will guarantee 120 that it is authentic and old.
